therest band shoot

Talking about the weather seems a little shallow and insignificant for a blog post, but the weather for this end of January shoot was unbelievable. As we headed out on the last day of the month, we couldn’t have wished for better conditions. therest is a new local Contemporary Christian group with some pretty impressive talent and big dreams. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to hang out with this incredible group of people for their album shoot. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for you guys in the coming months. I’m so happy to have had a part in this process. More to come shortly!

Sara: Class of 2012

Generally January doesn’t lend itself to outdoor senior sessions, and while this one was a little chilly, we were able to take advantage of a weekend of pretty decent weather to shoot this birthday girl’s senior shoot.  An artist, avid reader, and future Missouri State student, Sara has big plans for her future. Thanks for toughing it out and sharing your contagious laugh with me!

Brandon: Class of 2012

Days before the shoot, Brandon had an unfortunate reaction to something while hunting and just hours before the session his eyes were swollen shut. Brandon and his parents were such good sports in the near-arctic weather we braved for Brandon’s rescheduled shoot. I feel lucky to be able to call Brandon an advisee at school and equally enjoy having his sister in class.  Thanks for hanging out, Brandon…enjoy your preview!

Sierah: Class of 2012

I love this girlie, and so do my kiddos (which is just an added bonus). Sierah is our intern and has dreams of being a photographer, and is well on her way. You may remember her from this previous post. We were finally able to shoot her actual senior session. Sierah’s mom and BFF, Holly, not only made the experience run much more smoothly, but they provided built in entertainment…Chinese food, embarrassing moments, a human foot rest, and hidden treasures. Thanks for hanging out and braving the cold!

The Twenter Family

The Twenter family session was a blast, filled with trains, tricycles, tickles and smooches. Little K  has mommy and daddy wrapped around his little finger and with his giggly personality, it’s easy to see why. Here’s a peek at some of my favorites
